LEMBA rally support for The Long Eaton Scrubbers

Long Eaton Masonic Benevolent Association (LEMBA) would like to thank all those Derbyshire Freemasons who rapidly responded to their appeal via the Provincial Office for their help and support in supplying materials, buttons, draw strings and cotton etc. These donations enabled the Long Eaton Scrubbers, a group of local volunteers to produce over 600 sets of scrubs and 1000’s of wash bags and headbands.

This generosity supplied the resources for the group to make and donate urgently required protection to the Royal Derby and Burton Hospitals, local doctors surgeries, care homes and home care workers.

The Long Eaton Scrubbers are part of the larger national group continuously making and supplying scrubs / wash bags for the whole country in a time when PPE is difficult to source.
