Who are we?

Beaureper Lodge is the oldest lodge in Belper and was formed in 1859 at the New Inn which was between Belper Market Place and St Peters Church. The Lodge met at several locations within Belper up until 1947 when Beaureper Lodge moved to the current Belper Masonic Hall.

What we do

Members of the Beaureper Lodge meet 9 times a year. Emphasis is on enjoying and performing ritual, new members are supported by experienced members to learn ritual and progress within the lodge. We have a relaxed approach and lodge members enjoy a beer and a meal after each meeting.

Why join us?

Beaureper has a mix of age groups form their 20s to those enjoying retirement. We have members who have served in the armed and emergency services and the world of business which makes for enjoyable friendships. There are regular visits to other lodges within Derbyshire and around the UK.With regular visits to London by members and an annual trip to Gibraltar.
