Bretwalda Lodge

No: 6930

Who are we?

Founded in 1950, the Bretwalda lodge is a daughter lodge of King Egbert lodge and is also based in Dore, Sheffield on the furthest northern extreme of the province of Derbyshire. The lodge is thriving and in the last two calendar months of 2021 we initiated 6 new members and we have a short waiting list of candidates coming into the lodge in 2022. The age group of recent initiates is predominantly 30-49 and their career backgrounds include police officers, car salespeople, engineers, and mark specialists

What we do

We encourage new members and help them develop into knowledgeable and thoughtful masons

Why join us?

We have an active social group and as well as traditional Ladies night events we also have organised weekends away with families, meals out, ABBA night, Beer Festival and Christmas celebrations all involving partners.
