Who are we?
Being over 100 years old, our name derives from the old Saxon language meaning fort in the field. Since our inception in 1918; Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity has remained at the forefront of our purpose. However, although our traditions define us, modern life is warmly embraced, whether through supporting our local community or alternatively, in times of need, our own members.
What we do
Our aim is to do as much as we can for the local community, while retaining our deep seated lodge traditions and having fun

As a fraternal Brotherhood made up of all walks of life, being part of something special and purposeful while having fun, is a large part of who and what we are? We believe that as freemasons, we are here to improve ourselves as men, while enriching the lives of others less fortunate than ourselves.
