Hardwick Lodge

No: 2373

Who are we?

Hardwick Lodge is the second oldest Lodge meeting in Chesterfield, being consecrated in March 1891. Its name derives from Hardwick Hall, a residence of the 7th Duke of Devonshire, whose Agent and our 1st Worshipful Master, W.W. Jeudwine was based. Lodge members take a great deal of pride in the high standard of ritual displayed in the ceremonies, with its musical content, which greatly enhances the atmosphere of the occasion.

What we do

Apart from upholding a strong tradition of performing good ritual we also value the inclusion of family and friends in our social events. Hardwick is very much a team effort both inside and outside of the lodge.
