Who are we?

Peveril of the Peak Lodge is one of the oldest Freemasons’ Lodges in Derbyshire being granted its warrant in 1855. The Lodge attracts members from all walks of life and meet locally at New Mills in the only premises in Derbyshire built as a Masonic Hall.

What we do

Peveril of the Peak combines the traditions of Freemasonry with enjoyment. The members ensure their meetings are happy and cheerful for all whilst exploring the traditions and history of Freemasonry. The social and festive boards have a rich and varied appeal with cordial conversation and friendship at all times.

We maintain the traditions of Ancient Freemasonry with happiness being the ‘golden thread’ running through the core values of Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity. The Lodge is active in the local community supporting many local causes as well as donating to national charities
