On Thursday 26th September, The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Arthur Steven Varley was presented with a cheque for £20,000 towards the 2025 Festival by the WM of Spencer Lodge 8773, W Bro Richard Ray, accompanied by the lodge Charity Steward W Bro Paul Mansfield ProvGStwd. This was the lodge target plus £1000.
In fact the Provincial Grand Master was so pleased to receive such an amount from Spencer Lodge 8773 that in his own words, he almost keeled over! However, had this happened, the lodge DC was positioned ready to break his fall.
