Beauchief Abbey Lodge

No: 3793

Who are we?

A Lodge steeped in history, tradition, and service to others, we’ve been meeting at the beautiful Dore Freemasons Hall in Sheffield for over 100 years. Our members have wide and varied interests and occupations. We like having fun, being different, and enjoy trying new ideas and approaches.

What we do

We are a group of friends who have fun, enjoy the social side of freemasonry, and support local charities which have included Support Dogs, Derbyshire Mind, Teddies for Loving Care & Chesterfield Sea Cadets.

We try new things and encourage families, friends, and potential new members to get involved. A highlight of our year is the annual Christmas Carol Service at the nearby Beauchief Abbey.

Why join us?

Established on 12th July 1917, our values include integrity, respect, caring, concern for others, and charity.

Several of our meetings are open to family, friends, and anyone who may be interested in joining freemasonry. Following our meetings, we enjoy a delicious 3-course meal in the convivial surroundings of our Masonic Hall.
